Due to the fact that the houses built in the American style have a low foundation, high steps at the entrance are not needed. At the same time, auxiliary rooms (such as the basement) are designed at a considerable depth. A typical American porch looks like a canopy protected area. All this construction is supported by racks.

Roofs in American buildings are very original. Trying to stand out, American homeowners pay close attention to this element. Most often, residents prefer attic types of roofing, since the space of the attic allows you to realize many design ideas. In addition, in the attic you can always arrange a pantry. High or peaked roofs can be found infrequently.

American-style homes create a sense of spaciousness. Americans love being surrounded by greenery.

The color scheme in which such houses are designed is conducive to a calm measured life in the family circle: pastel colors are most often used. You will not find here those architectural excesses that abound in buildings in the Rococo or Baroque style. Everything is as practical as possible.

In the construction of American houses, those materials that were easy to find in the construction area, i.e. natural wood, stone or sandstone. Modern builders strive to completely hide from everyone the texture of the material used in the construction of the building. It is customary to plaster, paint and sew tightly. Most often, you can see buildings covered with painted lining, or upholstered with vinyl siding in various colors. Such surfaces are washed and tinted without much effort.

The interior of the buildings in the American style is simple and practical, and most importantly - does not require excessive material costs. Thanks to the imitation of expensive materials and well-chosen color combinations, the effect of naturalism is achieved. Here you will not find complex architectural forms - niches, arches, ledges are used. It is curious that there are no sharp corners in the interior of American houses, since caring for children is first and foremost.

Buildings in this style have a special layout, which provides separate rooms for all family members. The kitchen is large. Most often, it is connected to the living room and is called family-room. It definitely has a family dining table and a modern TV.

According to the current tradition, the adult bedroom is located on the ground floor of the building. In addition to the garage with access to the workshop, the lower floor often accommodates a platform for exercise machines and sports equipment. Above are rooms for younger family members and bathrooms.

Every American is very scrupulous about the design of a site near his home. Blooming flower beds and bright green lawns are located on the front side of the building. Having circled the building, you can see the relaxation area, which houses garden furniture, a barbecue and a playground for children’s games.

Without a doubt, the interior of the house, conceived in the American style, was simply created for a happy and comfortable life surrounded by a large family.
