• metal chain;
• primer;
• brush or roller;
• drill;
• 2 hooks;
• nippers;
• paint on wood;
• nuts
• carbines;
• solvent;
• pencil;
• saw;
• rags.

In this case, we suggest using a wooden parquet board. You can buy it at every hardware store. But if you recently made repairs, then you can safely use unnecessary trim. Choose a length that is not too long to make it ideal for the child. If desired, you can make a slightly larger version. Then it is suitable for both children and adults.

The most optimal will be a length of 50 cm. We measure it with a tape measure and cut it off. We also mark the sides of the board and make holes for the hooks. It is best to use roulette for this, so that the marks are at the same distance.

It is not necessary to process a wooden board, but keep in mind that in this case it will have a very short shelf life. The material darkens rather quickly, and also insects can start to build up over time. Therefore, we propose to treat the entire surface with an antiseptic primer. For complete drying, it must be left no less than a day. Only after that we apply paint in your favorite shade. In this case, white color is used. We insert hooks into the holes prepared in advance and fix them with washers. We also attach a carbine and insert the main chain ring into it. At this stage, you need to determine how long the structure should be. To do this, use a tape measure taking into account the fact that the optimal distance from the ground is at least 50 cm.

With the help of nippers, we cut off the excess part of the chain on each segment. We attach them to the seat with carabiners. For greater reliability, you can optionally use a rope or a strong rope.

We fix the swing on the tree and be sure to check it for strength before allowing children to ride on it. Remember that safety comes first!
