Romantic marine style - a project of one country house

The marine style in interior design is characterized by freshness, lightness and romance. Using a light contrasting color palette creates a feeling of coolness in the midst of a hot day. For romantics who enjoy relaxing on the coast - this style can be a favorite way to decorate your own home. Often, marine style is used to design one of the rooms - a bedroom, a living room or a nursery. In this publication, we would like to introduce you to the project of a country house, all the rooms of which are designed in the framework of marine style. Bright and spacious rooms of a country mansion, filled with freshness and grace, are incredibly cozy, but at the same time they are spared all that is superfluous. The design project of this home ownership serves as a good example of the fact that it is not necessary to hang anchors, ropes and helms on the walls, to buy textiles in white and blue stripes to give the room a marine-themed mood.

We begin our tour with a visit to the living room located on the ground floor. The combination of white and blue shades is the main concept of the marine color palette. As a rule, wall and ceiling surfaces are finished in white. This allows not only to visually expand the space, but also to give the room a feeling of cleanliness and coolness. A vaulted ceiling with beams and a wooden pannel, large windows divided into several sections and a wooden floor covering all indicate an elegant suburban lifestyle.

The presence of a fireplace in the living room is not immediately evident, thanks to the whitewashed stone finish. Upholstered chairs with a carved wooden base near the fireplace create a cozy corner of relaxation near a live fire.

Light furniture is in contrast with the white and blue colors of textiles and carpets. Table lamps are also designed in a similar range.

The light palette of the room is diluted with carved pendant lights and decorative elements of dark shades. From the living room you can easily get into the dining room, connected to the kitchen. The lack of doors between the rooms creates the effect of a smooth flow when moving around the house.

The decoration of the dining area is designed in the same light colors that dominate the entire premises of a suburban home ownership. A round dining table made of dark wood has become the focal point of the dining area. Shades of pendant and wall lamps, as well as a small chest of drawers were selected in accordance with the central element of the room.

All decorative elements and textiles in the living room and dining room are perfectly combined with each other, creating the effect of one harmonious room. From the dining area you can get into the same bright and tidy kitchen.

The snow-white room of a rather spacious kitchen made it possible to place all the necessary work surfaces and even organize a breakfast corner in the form of a small bar counter. Bright built-in cabinets with window openings on the upper tier serve as an excellent storage system for all necessary kitchen utensils. And modern household appliances are organically integrated into the general light atmosphere of a country house.

The original design of the kitchen apron over the work area gives the room a personality. Incredibly thought-out, ergonomic room, allows even the most routine kitchen affairs to be done in a positive mood and with pleasure. A good solution was to install a crane over the stove. This arrangement of access to water eliminates the movement of hosts with heavy pots from the sink to the stove.

Further we find ourselves in living rooms, among which the main bedroom. A bright, spacious room, decorated with incredible lightness and grace, creates a mood of comfortable peace. Large windows and glass floor-to-ceiling doors fill the room with natural light. For the dark, there is a pendant chandelier and table lamps.

Furniture upholstery, sleeping textiles and decor elements - everything is thought out to the smallest detail. There is nothing superfluous, but the atmosphere of the bedroom is cozy and relaxing.

A small touch complementing the nautical-style furnishings is a blue floor vase with white décor.

The bedroom adjoins the bathroom, made in warmer colors. Wooden carved cabinets are in harmony with the marble countertop in warm light beige tones. The presence of indoor plants makes the utilitarian room more comfortable and homely.

The second bedroom is decorated in light yellow tones, which serve as a wonderful backdrop for dark chocolate elements of furniture and decor.

A warm and bright room is replete with interesting, but unobtrusive textile colors. Unusual table lamps of a unique design bring an element of variety and surprise to the room.

The second bedroom also has a private bathroom. The spacious, snow-white room is literally flooded with sunlight, thanks to the extraordinary, additional location of the roof window. The large room housed not only a bathtub and a sink, but also a shower cubicle behind glass doors. The traditional design of the bathroom creates a comfortable atmosphere of relaxation and rest.
