How to make a chair out of a tire

An old tire does not have to be thrown away; you can make something useful out of it. For example, a small stool for the legs.

1. We clean the tire

Wash the tire cover thoroughly with detergent, and then let it dry thoroughly.

2. Primed surface

Apply a primer - spray to the tire.

3. We paint

Then paint the tire with spray paint of any color.

4. Measure the diameter

Measure the diameter of the tire and transfer the measurements to a sheet of thick plywood.

5. Cut parts from plywood

Cut two circles out of plywood. This will be the top and bottom of the chair.

6. We select the legs for the chair

For the lower part of the chair you will need small wheels. Four legs will provide the greatest stability, although you can do with three.

7. Fasten the wheels

Attach the legs to the bottom of the chair.

8. Glue the bottom

Fasten the bottom of the chair to the tire with construction glue.

9. Leave to dry

Turn the structure over and allow the glue to dry well.

10. Take the remaining workpiece

Now you need a circle for the top of the chair.

11. Cut a circle of foam

Cut a circle of the same diameter from foam rubber. You can make it from small pieces.

12. Sheathed

Sheathe foam with any fabric.

13. Fasten the foam on the top of the chair

Glue the resulting workpiece to the top of the chair.

14. Fasten the top of the chair to the tire

Glue the top of the chair to the tire. Great leg stool ready!
