We will need:

• simple frame;
• decor;
• glue gun;
• thick cardboard;
• acrylic and spray paint;
• masking tape;
• PVA glue;
• ruler;
• pencil;
• scissors;
• stationery knife.

First of all, we circle the outer edge of the frame on thick cardboard.

With a pencil, we draw fairly wide margins so that you can fit the entire prepared decor.

Carefully cut the fields with scissors or a clerical knife.

We apply the fields to the frame and, if all the details match, then we connect them with a glue gun.

From the cardboard we cut four walls for the future shelf.

We glue the walls with a glue gun, and also fix the walls between each other with simple PVA glue and masking tape.

We first lay out the entire decor on the surface and fix it on the shelf with hot glue.

It is better to use the most simple and lightweight details, similar in style.

We paint the entire shelf with spray paint. If necessary, make another layer with acrylic paint.

We leave the shelf no less than a day. After that, you can safely hang it on the wall and fill it with small books.

Convertible shelf

If you plan to make a shelf with your own hands, but have not yet decided what you will store on it, then the transformer design is an ideal solution.

In the process you will need the following:

• wooden board and sticks;
• boards for shelves;
• drill;
• sandpaper;
• pencil;
• saw;
• roulette;
• drill.

First you need to make markings on a large board. That is, indicate how far the holes should be.

Only then can you start drilling at an angle of 90 degrees.

After the first hole is ready, insert the stick into it. If everything matches, then we continue to work on the rest.

We remove the sawdust and turn the board over. If splits appeared on the reverse side, then simply tear off or cut them off. Then we process the holes with sandpaper.

Adjust the length of the sticks with a saw. It is very important to consider the width of the boards. As for their length, it can also be adjusted if necessary.

We install the shelf on the wall and distribute various objects on it. If desired, you can change the location of the shelves, which is very convenient in everyday life.

Unusual shelf

For those who love creative and unusual things in the interior, we suggest making a custom shelf with your own hands.

We will prepare such materials:

• board;
• drill;
• saw;
• metal washers;
• rope;
• lighter;
• corners.

Using a saw, we saw the board into pieces of the same size.

In each workpiece we make holes at the same distance with a drill.

We pull the rope through all the bars. To separate them, we use metal washers.

At the edges we fix the corners and hang the structure.
