Surely you still remember the times when a flower vase, presented to the hostess of the house, became the object of white envy of all her friends and neighbors on the landing. This object was given a special place in the apartment, they were admired and admired. Times have changed; things have become completely different. It is already difficult to surprise the inhabitants of our country with something - in the store now you can buy any, even the most fantastic thing. However, do-it-yourself accessories are still appreciated by those who love originality in everything. Today we will tell you about how you can independently make a decorative flower vase.

For work, it is necessary to prepare the following materials:

1. an unnecessary glass bottle of an irregular shape;
2. universal PVA glue;
3. natural color jute cord;
4. color synthetic cord (two to three types);
5. glue gun.

Work sequence

1. Take an empty glass bottle. Any container is suitable for the implementation of the idea, however, it is best to opt for a container of the original form with a stable base. The bottle should be washed thoroughly and dried well; if necessary, the glass can be degreased with alcohol. It is not necessary to clean the labels to the end, as paper labels provide additional adhesion to the materials.

2. Vase decoration should begin with a natural color cord. Lubricate the end of the prepared rope with glue and fix it at the very edge of the neck of the bottle. Getting to sticking the cord. To fix the decorative material, you can use one of two methods:
• apply glue to the rope, and then stick it to the bottle;
• grease the surface of the bottle first, and then wind the cord.

It is advisable to apply the adhesive in small parts, since it dries quickly, as a result of which the surface of the bottle will have to be greased again.

3. We continue to wrap the container with a cord. After processing a certain part of the vase, you should cut the rope, and continue decorating with a material of a different color. The number of stripes and the ratio of colors will depend on the main idea and your color preferences.

4. After finishing work, it is necessary to cut the cord and carefully strengthen it.

That’s practically all. The flower vase is ready.

If desired, the surface of the product can be decorated with any accessories (ribbons, lace or original buttons).
