How to make a creative bicycle wheel chandelier

If you need a new chandelier, you can do it yourself. To make the original interior item, you will need an old bicycle wheel and very little time.

1. Find the right material

Take the old bicycle wheel. It is important that it be without serious damage.

2. Remove the hub

Remove the hub from the wheel.

Use a wrench or pliers for this.

3. We clean the wheel

Remove all dirt and rust from the wheel.

4. We take a cord with a cartridge

You can use a portable lamp.

5. We make the upper part of the chandelier

Cut a metal tube (a rod for curtains in the bathroom is perfect) into parts measuring about 50 centimeters (the exact size depends on the height of the ceiling).

6. Pull the wire through the wheel

Pull the end of the wire through the wheel hub.

The cartridge should be located close to the hub.

7. Pull the wire through the tube

Thread the end of the wire into the tube.

Position the handset in the center of the wheel.

8. We fix a tube

Make a knot of wire at the end of the tube. This is necessary to fix it.

9. Install the mount for the chandelier

Fasten the hook to the ceiling.

10. We fix the chandelier

Fasten the wire to the hook. Connect the wire to a power source.

11. The chandelier is ready!

It remains only to screw in the light and turn on the light.
